Profilometers and Autocorrelators

Laser beam analysers

Laser beam profilometer:

A laser beam profilometer is used to measure the shape and characteristics of the laser beam. It is mainly used in the analysis of beam parameters such as beam diameter, focal length, intensity, energy profile, etc. A laser beam profilometer is useful in the calibration and characterization of lasers and in the optimization of optical systems.

Autocorrelators:

The autocorrelator is a tool used in the study of ultra-short laser pulses, especially those with a duration of femtoseconds (10^-15 seconds) or picoseconds (10^-12 seconds). Its main task is to measure the duration of laser pulses and the temporal characteristics of the beam. Based on the autocorrelation results, the pulse duration and time characteristics such as the pulse intensity versus time curve can be determined.

ULTRA-FAST APE AUTO-CORRELATOR

APE's Ultrafast Autocollerator is used to characterize ultrafast laser pulses. Equipped with a built-in two-photon absorption (TPA) detector, this autocorrelator is ideal for measuring ultrafast femtosecond and picosecond laser pulses with wavelengths from 700 to 1100 nm.

The highly sensitive TPA detector allows ultrafast laser pulses to be measured with high sensitivity, eliminating the need to tune the SHG nonlinear crystal angle. APE's ultra-fast autocollerator is designed in a compact package and can be mounted on an adjustable optical mount for easy incorporation into any ultra-fast optical setup. Each autocorrelator comes with a built-in TPA detector, a USB-based controller, ready-to-use data acquisition software, and TCP/IP-based software with a subset of SCPI-based commands that allow users to program automatic measurement procedures.

APE's ultrafast autocorrelator is calibrated to NIST (U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology) measurement standards.
