Ocean Optics offers a variety of InPhotonics fiber optic probes for your Raman application requirements. These RIP model probes are designed for optimum signal collection with effective filtering of the excitation laser wavelength to ensure best results. Probes are available for 532 nm, 785 nm and custom excitation wavelengths and can be used in laboratory and industrial environments.

  • General Purpose Probes are ideal for routine lab measurements of liquids and solids.
  • Immersion Probes are designed for analyzing solutions in situ, with standard and ruggedized options available.
  • Process Probes are optimized for use in industrial environments, with temperature- and pressure-resistant probe body materials and optical components.

 

General Purpose Probes

Our RPB and RPS Raman probes are versatile sampling accessories for lab applications. The probes are available for 532, 638, 785 and 1064 nm with FC and SMA 905 connectors for excitation and collection fibers. RPB probes are anodized aluminum with a stainless steel tip and include a manual safety shutter; RPS probes are stainless steel and include an emission indicator. These are non-immersion probes that are ideal for measurement of solids and surfaces and for measurement through glass and plastics.

Immersion Probes

 

Our RP2 and RPR Raman immersion probes are ideal for in situ measurement of clear or turbid solutions. The probes are available for 532 nm, 785 nm and other excitation wavelengths, with FC and SMA 905 connectors for excitation and collection fibers.

RP2 lab probes are distinguished by a stainless steel immersion sleeve that’s adjustable for different working distances. RP2s can be heated to 200 °C but are not designed for high-pressure use. For high-pressure applications we offer the RPR probes, which are rated to 1500 psi and can be heated to 200 °C.  RPRs are best suited for process environments, with robust probe materials, chemically resistant welded seals and other industrial-grade components.

Process Probe

With an extension tube design to protect probe optics from the high temperatures of process environments, RPP Raman process probes help bring Raman spectroscopy to industrial applications. The RPP’s pressure-tight, stainless steel extension tube can be immersed in process streams and hostile environments without affecting the probe’s Raman-optimized filtering and focusing optical design.

RPP probes are available for 532 nm, 785 nm and other excitation wavelengths, with FC and SMA 905 connectors for excitation and collection fibers. The probes are rated to 3000 psi and can be heated to 500 °C.
