Infrared Emitting Diodes

Infrared Emitting Diodes (IREDs) – VTE – are solid-state light sources that emit in the near-infrared region of the spectrum. Their emission wavelength is closely aligned with the response peak of silicon photodiodes and phototransistors.
This product line offers a wide variety of mounting lenses and power output options, with both end-radiating and side-radiating cases available. A diverse range of emission beam profiles is also offered. These devices can operate in either continuous wave (CW) or pulsed modes.
